had a root canal today, and they gave me like 12 shots and i still felt everything!!! it was like 3 hours of pure torture!!! i'm still in pain. the dentist just couldn't numb my tooth for some reason?

It appears you are a mother. How did you respond to anaesthesia during childbirth? Or did you go natural?

i was in labor for 36 hours before i finally asked for them to give me something, i just couldn't take it anymore, after that it was much better. didn't have the kind of problem that i had today ever before.

OMG! How horrible!!! Glad you survived! I remember once when I was getting a cavity filled, they couldn't numb my tooth for the looooongest time! You poor thing. Hope the pain doesn't linger too long.

I have 2 have at least 3 shots of novocaine before I can become numb at the dentists!!

For some reason, 1 shot just doesnt take on me!!!!

My dentist just cant understand it!!!!

they knock me out everytime...
