yup... and you can believe that i never told my Mother or Father that i got in trouble, but that only lasted until 7th grade, because i became a badass and told one teacher what i was going to do to her if she touched me and i guess it got back to all the other teachers and i never got whipped again

yes...I got several "paddlings"...

and when I got in trouble at school, it was a given that the same trouble would be waiting for me at home...there were never any questions about who was right or wrong; me or the teacher...if I got in trouble at school, it was my fault, no questions asked...

I must have missed those days by a few years... I do, however, believe in spanking as a form of discipline.

I'm NOT talking about thrashings or getting a belt but sometimes timeouts just don't cut it!

My Nana did wield a mean wooden spoon though, come to think of it, and believe me I learned!

yes and my parents were LIVID about it when they found out. i remember them BOTH coming to school the next day and screaming at my teacher in the hallway. then i guess the teacher said what i did to deserve the spanking because when i got home from school my parents whipped my ass again.

i guess that's not funny because it's considered double child abuse by today's standards.

That's funny, as bad as I was, I never got hit by the teachers.

No, I never got my ass whooped by a teacher. I never witnessed it at my school however my 4th grade teacher lifted my best friend up in the air by her jaw. He was told on and ended up retiring that year. He should have been fired right away. There were plenty of children around to see what happened.

.. the Nuns didnt play that in Catholic school back in the day... they reprimanded you, but today is different... they dont tolerate disrespect .. if a student is that disrespectful, they are put out of the school
