Be Honest...

Who here does NOT floss?

1) Like Ever?

2) Not after every meal

3) Not every day

4) Maybe just once a week?

I know the numbers are high.

I floss at LEAST 5 days a week, often every day. But usually only once a day.

I've never had a cavity.

This is about me.

Sometimes I'm obsessive and floss after every meal.
Weak gums run in my family so I have to floss, else the onset of gingivitis happens quickly.

But I know folks who look at me stunned if the subject of flossing even comes up... It's like they think "oh shit...I need to do that? eek " lol

I think it's still viewed as a "fringe" behavior when it comes to Oral Hygiene.

What's floss?

Like, am I flossin'?

I'll have to consult the Urban Dictionary, so I doubt it.

EDIT: I looked it up. I am flossin' every day, I just didn't know it or attempt it on purpose.

Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

About once a week. It makes my teeth ache, so I have to do it at night.

I haven't had a cavity in over 30 years. shrug

This isn't quite as disturbing as that thread about who washes their hands after they use the bathroom.

After Dean admitted that he didn't after a good pee cause his 'penis was clean enough', I couldn't sleep for nights.

lol I do think that diet and genetics also have a lot to do with tooth and gum health.

For me it was environment and genetics.
My mom did not allow me to have sweets, made sure I brushed and flossed as directed.
I had cavities in my baby teeth and my adult teeth. My dad's family have teeth issues. The dentists have said that my teeth issues are probably a combo of bad genes and the well water growing up and the fact that my mom doing things when she was pregnant like starving herself ans smoking.
we used to receive fluoride treatments regularly in school.
Yuck...I hated that stuff. ill

Our school used to give us tablets that would turn our mouth and teeth red.

Luckily my mom did stop smoking, when she was in her 40's. I am proud that she finally quit. I have memories of her smoking in the bath tub, She always had to have a cigarette in her hand.

lol We used to get those too.
It's good that your mom quit!
My mom didn't quit until she was in her mid-60s and she's really having a diffcult time of it now with lung disease. I remember her smoking quite a bit too.
