moderatorIt's never too late - how much you put into it is how much you'll get out of it. Of course, the older one gets, the more responsibilities one has (jobs, family, etc.) but it can be done 
And for the younger ones, there are so many distractions nowadays, it's a wonder any of them pick up an instrument at all. And many of the ones who do expect to become great overnight. They get a guitar one week and expect to post a video of them "shredding" on YouTube the next week. Doesn't work that way. As I often say, Rome wasn't built in a day. It takes time and PRACTICE. A lot of time spent on the Internet asking questions about playing could be spent PLAYING

I'm happy for other individuals who aspire the achievement of meeting their personal level of success and greatness in music. But it's just too much for me. I lost it last year when it occurred to me that I have to get off my ass and stop indulging on something that doesn't promise a bright future.
