Yes, I do. My great grandmother visited me when I was 15. She died three years before I was born.

I'd like to say I don't, but I do believe in them. And I'm actually scared of them.
I used to hear yelling every now and then in my house a few years ago. One time I heard someone shout my name, and the only other person in the house was my dad, and it was a woman's voice. And none of my neighbors know me OR my name. And once I heard a woman screaming and it came from every direction. Once again, no-one outside or in the house. it scared the shit out of me. Its stopped though.

I don't even wanna fuck around with them, ghosts or whatever people wanna call them.

Well I can definately relate being that I posted much earlier how I always hear someone calling me by name. Now the shouting part, nah, I haven't had the shouting.

Dear Z,

When I was 5 or 6 year old lived with my grandmother 4 a short period of time. I felt very secure and loved. fallinluv
She had her on habit and it made the days very easy. In the after noon she used to watch her soap opera. I would lay down my head on her knees so she would play with my hair. That was our mutual agreement. Silence and pure pleasure was meeting… cloud9

However we were just my grandma and I, always felt like 3, cause I could scent someone else. At the doorframe of the living room there he was standing. I didn’t felt any threat and I almost felt the bliss. So there 4 I never talk to my grandma about it and beside didn’t want to ruin our pure moment of delight.innocent

Until a family diner came along... .we were all around the table, my uncles, aunties, my father and I. While we were being served, Grandma told her children that their father was visiting her.Everyone started to laugh.disbelief:hmm:My aunt even reminded her that it was not possible because he was dead My grandmother try to explain and my father got mad grumbling who knows what. I knew at that moment that the person standing at the doorframe was my grandfather and felt the need to tell them that I saw him too. My father, yet, incredulous :omg:had to ask me were did I saw him. Got up and show them exactly where. After that I don’t remember what happen that evening.

eye still don’t know if I believe in ghosts or not… shrug I had few experiences of this sorts and still ask my self if it could be my imagination.

I had talk to a dear friend about this and other ghost’s stories of mine and he wouldn’t believe in them at all. He gave me some of his logical explanations to my stories boff2 At first I was shock from his rationalisations and is arrogance, afterward thought that maybe he mad some sense, so I went to read few books.

Came to the conclusion that it is possible, that I had an optical illusion of a dark shade through the doorframe and mad a clear image of my grandfather from a picture.
Why? To keep the complicity, the pleasure and most of all the privilege I had with her.mushy Does it make more sense?
One thing I know she must had fell in a deep trap of loneliness after the death of her beloved.
Walk hand in hand, raise their kids and went to roller coaster like many husband and wife, did she overcome her sadness…

I do remember that a short period after that my aunt came and live with her. Now is it because she felt some indulgent for her mother or another motif. That’s another story… wink
Aldo I like this end…it make my aunt a perceptive person.

I have more ghost stories and most of them have an explanation but not all of them.skull falloff
I guess that the mind has his on tricky ways to tell you things.

Lets rationalized dear Chico Ché my beautiful Pancho sun

I don't believe in them but I am always open that I could be wrong. But from what I've seen in my life, every time something strange or "ghostly" seems to be happening, there has always been an explanation for it later.

For instance, last year when my mother died, there was an instance that really spooked me out. In her last remaining years before she got too sick and had to go to a nursing home, she spent damn near every minute she was awake playing Yahoo Spades on her computer. It was an old computer that was extemely slow and made a grinding noise from time to time but she didn't care as long as it was able to accomplish the one thing she wanted out of it, which was to play Yahoo Spades.

Anyway, she died on a Tuesday and was buried two days later on a Thursday. I took that Tuesday off from work and stayed off for the rest of the week and returned to work that following Monday. The next week, my brother came over to get some of her furniture. He wanted her bedroom furniture and the bedroom furniture that was in a spare bedroom for her grandsons on the weekend when they would stay with her. The spare bedroom was also the room where she had her computer and played Yahoo spades all the time. My brother called me one day at work and told me he was going over there to get some furniture. I told him what he could take but I also told him what I wanted in the house and that he should leave what I wanted alone.

Anyway, that following Saturday, I was looking around and observing what he had and hadn't taken. As I was coming down the hall, the door to the spare bedroom was closed but I could hear that damn computer grinding through the closed door. This was strange as hell. I opened the door and the computer monitor was off but the green light was lit on the computer part at the bottom. I called him and asked him if he had turned it on and he said no and that he would have no reason to push any buttons on it because he knows absolutely nothing about computers whatsoever. He wouldn't even know what button to push to turn it on. When I hard that, I hung up the phone and got the hell out of that house. lol

About a week later, he called me and told me that he talked to his stepson that was helping him move the furniture and the boy denied it. He told him what happened and how strange it was and finally the boy admitted that his nosey ass had turned the computer on when my brother wasn't in the room and when my brother returned to the room, the boy got scared and turned the monitor off but must have forgotten to push the button at the bottom to turn the computer off. Well, that mystery was solved. lol

I don't believe in them in any traditional sense. That means I don't believe anyone's really ever seen Abe Lincoln walking around the White House since 1865

Exactly. Nothing's come close to convincing me, but it's like God, I'd never be arrogant enough to assume I really know that there are no ghosts (just like I could never say that god doesn't exist, even though I don't really believe in a traditional creator type god).

Hi sweetie pie! hug
I thought it went away - I got all Sylvia Browne on it and told it to leave, got to the light, you're dead, etc.
It did stop for a while, but then resumed.
It still friggin touches me a night when I'm about to go to sleep. I heard heavy breathing in my face, my blanket has rustled when I'm not moving, hands or something gently shaking my arms or the edge of the bed. I don't even like keeping my hands or feet being from under the covers because I don't want them to be grabbed. I have to go to sleep with the TV on too.
Man, I HATE IT! And it never happens when anyone is there.
Only when I'm alone and there;s no one to run to. I do live by myself, so it's creeps me the hell out. I've even tried getting mad and yelling like a total fool during the daytime when nothing is going on and only feel like an ass.
sad

No, my baby is useless. lol He sees it though. He sometimes stares into space and barks, but there's nothing in front of him. I cling to his little 7 pound body at night.
