Do you all believe in ghosts? Have any of you ever seen or heard a ghost or what you thought may have been a ghost? Ever been somewhere or lived somewhere that u know or believed to be haunted?

Yeah, but to answer your question,..yeah, I definately believe in ghosts. I've seen ghosts, I've heard ghosts, the whole 9. Sure. Many people have. Since the beginning of time. I'm not afraid of them though. Never have been. Never had any reason to be. It's not like the boogeyman in the movies and shit. That's kid stuff.

My mom and dads house, wich i grew up in, was scary when i was a child.
I lived at the top floor and one time i could have swear i heard someone running up the stairs and another time when i was in bed i feelt someone touching me and saw a black silouette, i ran as fast as i could down to mom and dads bed.
But i wonder if it was all my imagination, cause nothing ever happens there anymore, i can even sleep there alone at night.

My Mom grew up in this house,but she doesn't live here anymore,she said when she was little she saw a young girl in a wheelchair next to the doorway into her parents room. Later we found out that the house had belonged to a doctor who had a disabled daughter,and last year I woke up,and thought I saw someone pass my bedroom door,but nobody was there,I got up,and out of nowhere I started bawling,and could'nt stop or figure out why I was crying. Right there was to weird for me.

Ive seen 2 in my bedroom.
One night I woke up and someone was leaning over me and i could see they were smiling but I couldnt recognise who it was.It was quite scary...I just turned away and pulled my covers over my head and I swear I was physically shaking with fear.
Another time while i was reading in bed one night I could hear heavy breathing in my bedroom (not like that lol).I thought it might be someone I know having a laugh at my window so I got up to look out but my windows were shut and no one was there and i could still hear the breathing...so strange I wasnt really scared that time it was just so surreal.I went back to my bed and put some music on just loud enough so I couldnt hear the breathing anymore,after an hour or so it stopped.

Saying that i dont believe that mediums or spiritualists actually contact the dead.I feel these people just make money from vulnerable people,we find comfort in thinking there is some kind of after-life.

I've never actually SEEN a ghost, but I've felt them, their 'presence'! I posted before in the thread about Haunted houses, how when I lived in Rooms in this really old building when I was at Ballet School. We would be sitting in one room, say the living room, and we would get this really strange 'feeling', a strange oppressive sort of thing, and one by one we would get up and move into another room. Just take whatever we were doing and go somewhere else, often without saying anything to each other, or even acknowledging what had happened... or we would just look at each other kind of knowingly. All sorts of things happened, like plants and flowers would just die almost straight away, lots of things I can't remember now. But it was a spooky place.... that was also at the time when Purple Rain came out and I had the 12" with God on the B side, which I used to play constantly! I loved God vocal, but the girls I shared with, who were already spooked out by all the strange 'happenings' would run out of the room screaming and crying when I played it. Actually screaming! It made me laugh, and then I would think 'Oh good, they've gone I can listen to it in peace'

Another thing that I experienced was when a friend's Dad died. She told me these stories about how the clock would stop at the exact time that he had died, or that the smell of bleach would appear (it was something to do with his false teeth and the bleach he used to put them in...yuck! but anyway). So I listened to the stories and then kind of forgot about it. But a few weeks later we were in a restaurant having lunch, a whole crowd of us laughing, talking when all of a sudden this smell nearly overpowered my senses, it was in my nostrils, it made my eyes water - I'm not kidding. It wasn't just a faint whiff it was like inhaling the smell of really strong bleach straight out of the bottle. Anyway, I was like WTH, and then I looked over at my friend and she was just staring at me really intently with tears in her eyes, and she said 'you can smell it can't you'. I just nodded and I was in tears too...No one else at the table had noticed ANYTHING, not a whiff, they thought we were mad. I went off to search for bleach then, in the loos, and I looked outside the window at the drains, looking for some explanation, but there was nothing, because I couldn't really comprehend what had happened to me! Strange, but true...

I have some occurences that has happened. Most of them at my grandparents house. During the summers, when I was 7 and 8, I would go and spend the summer in Arizona at my grandparents house. It was just my grandfather and my aunt there. My grandmother had died. Anyway, I would hear my grandmother all the time. My grandfather would be gone and my aunt would be outside so I would be in the house alone. I would hear footsteps walking down the hallway and I could see my aunt outside in the front yard through the window. At first, I would hop up and run to the hallway. Nothing. It got to the point where I never even bothered to get up to check anymore. One time, I actually saw my grandmother walk into my grandfather's room. Nobody was in the house but me. I walked down the hall and looked into the room...no one was there. Not visibly anyway. I told my aunt that I saw her go into the room. She told me that she has seen her around the house as well. I could be out in the back yard by myself and I would feel this pressence back there with me. Not all the time but quite often. Sometimes I would just stand still, so I could feel the pressence stronger. Then it would either leave or I would just get tired of standing there and go back to whatever it was I was doing. Again, up here in California, again when I was 8, my parents and myself moved into this new big house. The owner who used to live there with his wife, she died. Not in the house but man, did she used to come and visit. By then, I was a pro with ghosts from staying at my grand parents house. All the bedrooms were upstairs. It was my parents room, my room and then we had a spare room. This is where the little old lady would hang out. Sometimes there would be this odor coming from the room. A real "old" odor. My mother would air out the room, put air fresheners in there, everything. Sometimes, you couldn't smell it. I knew what it was. I would hear noises in their sometimes when no one was in the room. Footsteps, someone either sitting on a bed or getting off of one. Just movement. Nothing ever fucked with me cuz my vibe was always calm. I wasn't scared. I just went on about my 8 year old business.

I have family in Louisiana..All kinds of stuff be jumping off down there. It's so spirtual there that the ghosts are just as comfortable as can be. U can damn near see ghosts walking down the street and shit. EVERYTHING is haunted over there. People are so used to that...everybody.

Sorry, didn't mean to scare you. Nah, I've been places since I've been grown where folks have said it was haunted. I have wondered where I live right now, if it's haunted. I have wood floors and when I first moved in here, I would hear sounds of somebody walking on the floor. It's not as much anymore. I've actually heard someone call my name that came from behind me. I turned around but of course nothing was there. I live here by myself. But when I've lived with girfriends, this used to happen a lot. I could be in the room and they could be in the living room. I would swear I would hear them calling me. I would walk out like "Huh?" They would look at me "What?" I'll be like "Didn't you just call me?" "No". That happens to me a lot. It would be the persons voice calling me but I'm always somewhere else in the house. That has happened here, other places, doesn't matter. I'm always like "Didn't u just call me?" I ask that all the time it seems? And it's always "No". Sometimes I'll be like "Yes your ass did too. Stop lying..You know you just called me!"
