I've heard it advertised on the radio, wonder if it really works

I woke up at 4am with a burning in my throat, and by 1pm it was on FIRE
I've taken 3 lots of panadol aldready and it only helps a little while.

No but I always use this when I have a sore throat .....it's an antiinflamatory but it always makes it numb so helps with the pain

A salt water gargle has always worked well for my sore throats, and tea is always nice.

but to answer your question, the strongest stuff i've ever used was chloroseptic spray. i have hated that stuff with a passion since i was little, but it will numb the bejeezus out of my throat, which i guess means it does the job. a numbed sore throat is so gross feeling, though. it feels dirty. when i was a kid and my mom would make me use chloroseptic, i would protest by yelling "I DON'T WANT NO DIRTY LAUNDRY THROAT!" yeah, i still don't know what i meant by that.
