i think attention whores are fine as long as they're offering something you can take away with you. if they can make me laugh, if they have a good schtick, if they're in any way witty or genuinely funny, then i figure they've earned their precious attention. god bless 'em.

but if they're trolling, baiting, being crude for the sake of cheap shock value, or using any other lazy/disrespectful/unsavory method to get attention, they immediately go into my mental spam folder.
