So last night, I had a the Japanese version of hamburger called Hambaagu. There are different ways to prepare this... but I made mine glazed with mirin & soy, filled with seaweed, toasted sesame seeds, and ginger. My side dish was sauteed enoki mushrooms and bok choy, with brown rice in traditional dashi broth. | |

I just prepped a late lunch and to my surprise,my son loved it. ( Not his sort of thing i thought)
Bed of lettuce with scallions, broccoli, celery,cilantro, freshly roasted pine nuts and half a dozen grilled shrimp. I'm very happy. | |
