likewise, doll. hope all is well. still moonlighting at the coffee shop?

I quit at the end of June. It's too nice in the summer to be holed away in a coffee shop all the time and I was working long hours at the regular job due to a project I was on.

But I'm getting a raise and a new title in September! woot!

In the end, last night I grilled some fish in mirin & miso, topped over a simple bed of mixed salad greens (I think it was radicchio, mache, and a little arugula). I had a peach yogurt drink on the side.

Last night a yummie Indian curry meal.

Tonight...the traditional cook together and have a romantic evening. I think we are going to make a dish that Steve (Predom) & his beautiful Italian wife cooked for us. It is a gorgeous pasta dish with cream & vodka.

Sounds wonderful.

So last night, I had a the Japanese version of hamburger called Hambaagu. There are different ways to prepare this... but I made mine glazed with mirin & soy, filled with seaweed, toasted sesame seeds, and ginger. My side dish was sauteed enoki mushrooms and bok choy, with brown rice in traditional dashi broth. cool
