Law and Order Criminal Intent Can I just say that Detective Goren RULES! This guy can always see through the veil of lies...I love a show where the hero is really pure, well and truly unambiguously competent and good. It's really rare. Thumbs up!!!
Not like your typical Van Damme movie where the "hero" gets his ass kicked 80% of the time. Fear is the mind-killer.

Teller-
I love the Law & Order series - and I agree that Vincent D'nofrio's character is great - but my favorite L&O series is Special Victims Unit. I started watching C.I. from the beginning, but it didn't interest me as much as S.V.U. I think that Goren's partner (and their Lieutenant) are poor choices for this show. They don't match D'nofrio's intensity.

What's that one with Tom Sizemore? I don't think it's one of the slew of L&O series.
He basically plays Pacino from Heat. It's okay. I think it's from the same director or producer.

S.V.U. is good too...I suppose on the original series my favorite character is D.A. McCoy. He's not as unambiguous as Goren, but he's intense and basically good! Fear is the mind-killer.

I used to love Andre Braugher's character in Homicide for that same reason! Now he's playing second fiddle to some schmuck
