Law and Order Criminal Intent

Can I just say that Detective Goren RULES! This guy can always see through the veil of lies...I love a show where the hero is really pure, well and truly unambiguously competent and good. It's really rare. Thumbs up!!!

Not like your typical Van Damme movie where the "hero" gets his ass kicked 80% of the time.

Is that the one with Vincent D'Onfrio, or whatever his name is?

Yeah that's good. He's like a combination of Columbo and Sherlock Holmes.

Yeah...he likes to play "dumb" sometimes and it usually pays off! smile

Teller-

I love the Law & Order series - and I agree that Vincent D'nofrio's character is great - but my favorite L&O series is Special Victims Unit.

I started watching C.I. from the beginning, but it didn't interest me as much as S.V.U. I think that Goren's partner (and their Lieutenant) are poor choices for this show. They don't match D'nofrio's intensity.

What's that one with Tom Sizemore? I don't think it's one of the slew of L&O series.

He basically plays Pacino from Heat. It's okay. I think it's from the same director or producer.

I agree...he sorta steals the show. But at the same time, he IS the show, so I just watch him and let the support cast support. S.V.U. is good too...I suppose on the original series my favorite character is D.A. McCoy. He's not as unambiguous as Goren, but he's intense and basically good! smile

I used to love Andre Braugher's character in Homicide for that same reason!

Now he's playing second fiddle to some schmuck evil
