Has anyone been keeping up with this soap lately? It is getting a touch better since Angie, Jesse, and Frankie are back, but what about the Richie/Annie story line. I am so over that. They need to hurry and kill Annie and move on.

Actually when I go to my mom's house, I got into All My Children because my mother had started back watching it because of the return of Angie and Jesse. Things are closing in on Annie..Brutha Richie's ghost has been appearing to Annie...Jesse and Tad pretty much have figured that Annie was the one who killed her brother. It's just a matter of time. I gotta tell ya, that Randi is FINE as hell! Hate to see her with a knucklehead like Frankie cuz she makes him look like a little boy...but I'm digging that she's over there at Fushion...She's the finest one there by a mile. I can't STAND Casandra's ass..But I didn't like that girl when she was on America's Top Model. She looks mean as a muthafucker.

I haven't watched AMC for about 3 years now. I usually watch it religiously and then take a break from it for a couple of years. It's not hard to get back into the storylines.

I miss Janet from another planet.

You are so right. AMC stretches a story out for an eternity. It seems like it took forever for the Proteus thing to die. It took forever for Michael Cambius to die. They just take forever. I'm sure you can start watching now, and get caught up on the last story line for the year.

The I found I really didn't like most of the new characters or storylines

I'd watch each soap for maybe one storyline in each

I realized it was my entire afternoon...three hours of my life Mon-Friday I was wasting and I'd never get back.

So I stopped watching and spent my time here instead!

I've watched AMC & OLTL off and on since the mid-70s - Ryan's Hope too. Erica & Delia(Ilene Kristen) were badass back then! Today's storylines can't compare.

Y'all are terrible ....shooot I ain't hatin' on them for staying in the grind...parts aren't really being thrown to black actors in film nowadays unless you're the same 10 dudes in Hollywood, and especially at the Van peebles age. It might be daytime tv, but a contract with a steady paycheck and a few perks is not necessarily a bad thing

sure. we're probably going to see more and more of that, like we see actors known for film roles doing more and more primetime sitcoms and TV dramas. or comedians taking gigs as talk show hosts (although that could be seen as a step UP for most of them, really).

The process of soap opera acting it not easy. It's a bitch and some actors have said it's harder than movie or primetime tv acting because of the scheduling and that they don't get their scripts until the day of shooting. They can get them up to two weeks early, but there are constant changes made in the interim

I'm starting to watch all my children again. I'm not as as intense fan as i was when in my 20's...


But i love the story lines with all my favorite charachters children now.


mario is a great addition, and i don't mind his dad in a cameo or two, but i would b mortified.

I know what you mean.At first,I kinda liked her.I thought she was sweet and innocent but it soon became clear that she's nothing but a bitch It got to the point where,I was actually thrilled to see her brother Richie intimidate,threaten and blackmail her,lol.Those scenes were funny.I found myself not caring about her at all.

Also, when they refer to Aidan as "Clu-dumbo", I fall out laughing. Hell, I can't understand half of the lines that come out of his mouth. I understand why he's a soap actor, buy how does he keep a job? Come on, who is he doing at ABC to keep a job?
