It'd be worth pointing out it's not until January, but I like to think of myself as a free-spirit, not shackled by societal constraints like months and days! We should celebrate people's births everyday!

woot!

Now, I'm late for work, so I'll be back later....

Wait, what? Bridge camera? I'd like that Canon, what is it? G9? I'm too drunk to remember.

I'm already getting restless. D40x for my main camera, Lumix FX-30 to take when I go out, even just food shopping, but the Olympus like your husband has is on thin ice. I'm looking at a second-hand Leica, but I don't think there's any way I can justify it.

Fuji aren't still doing that horrible interpolation crap are they? I remember my friend buying a 6MP Fuji that was basically a 3MP camera. It was shocking.

I'm really surprised you've had such a problem, although I must admit I've not taken too many low-light pics with mine. I know I rely heavily on editing though, so maybe I've just never thought too much about it. lol I wouldn't dream of leaving a photo as is. shake

Any problems with sensor dust yet? I took some photos of the sky the other day and found 3 giant blurry blobs on all of the pics. Checked the lens and it looked fine. Wondering if I should get the sensor cleaned. I've no idea if it costs a lot or what. shrug

yeah, if I do a shot with a white background or a long exposure there is heaps of shit everywhere mad I've tried cleaning it myself once or twice, but that just moves it around - I'm changing lenses all the time, so I can't avoid it.

funny, I was totally thinking of asking you if you knew how to clean a sensor.
My old D70's got some nasty stuff floating around in there! I may get the Giottos Rocket Blaster kit and see how it does.
