I think negativity starts from how you are raised. I have also moved accross the country and unfortunately do not have heavy contact with my family excpet for my eldest sister that lives 4 hours away. We get picked on by our family because they say we are two peas in a pod and don't want anythnig to do with them. It's not that. My mom is like Snuffalupagous. Woh is me. Life has been so hard. I can't be around that shit. She has told me countless times the many things I cannot do. It's not a blow to me, she does it cause, well, that's all she knows. I'm not mad at her, she can't help it. I just do what I do to cope.

I have actively left friends behind because they were a drain. Either on my coat tails, money, emotions, etc. I went through a phase when I would have friends that were FUN to be around, but when it came to serious life, they were pieces of work.

Fast forward out of my 20's and now I have to be careful who I let in. The friends I grew up with are not around except for one. I notice the difference. She is an entrprenuer and a savvy real estate investor.

They say you forget where you come from when you succeed. No you don't, you separate from people that are not on the thinking about tomorrow concept. The mate you choose, the friends you choose totally bleed into your professional life. If you run with dogs, you catch fleas.

Ivy you have and are still dealing with alot of negative things which are not your doing. Thus I understand where you are coming from. It can make you feel helpless and overwhelmed, I have been there myself. I have been blessed to be in your prescence and you always make me feel like a VIP for real!!! You go out of your way for others and put yourself last!! You have to start appreciating youself more!!! Some things are beyond your control and you have to accept that!!!!

I have been around your friends and they are just as wonderful and genuine as you are. You keep it real and some folks can't handle it. See people say they want the truth and when you tell them they get mad and sometimes quit speaking to you or what ever, because you didn't tell them what they wanted to hear. You are a realist you don't stick your head in the sand and see rainbows and clouds that is not your persona, so don't apolgize for it. You are who you are either folks will love you or they won't!!!

You deal with life head on that is the warrior in you but I understand you get weary of battles sometimes and baby you need to rest and rejuvenate yourself. I have learned the hard way that not everyone who you love will love you back with the same intensity and devotion that you do. But don't let that stop your growing process in becoming the diamond that you are!!!!
