The knee jerk reaction to stick up for the little guy by picking on the one that's on top is a weird phenomenon to me...especially when it's a child.

But, oh well...that's just the way it seems to be.

yes, she's beautiful. But she's part of something false. In fact, she's the facade. I'm not picking on her or her beauty, but in the context of the situation it changes the way I see her. Instead of being a beautiful girl I see her as a pawn.

It's like any cheesy thing that features children to tug at heartstrings. The children are innocent but the phoniness is disgusting.

I see what you're saying but I just fail to see the connection between her physical appearance and her not actually singing. For me, it changes nothing. It doesn't make her appear fake in any other way to me.

Whether she is a pawn or not (which she totally is) doesn't make me change my opinion on her physical appearance at all - that is all real. I don't find her fake looking in any way at all.

I think the "voice" girl was perfectly adorable.

Sad really, the only real difference in both girls looks are their teeth and hair length.

I agree with you. (So, HEY...we share that opinion! )
But, saying that her photos looked like pagent photos is not a negative comment about this little girl. Who would "bash" a child because she's "considered the considered the prettier of the two"? That's sick.

When I saw those photos I instantly though of many of the programs I've seen of pagents for small girls in this country and the stage mother syndrome. I also thought about all the attention that is being drawn to the physical appearance of these two small girls. It was upsetting because I believe that children should not be subjected to those things.
Hence, my comments.

A few years ago I read a story about some coats that were manufactured in China and sold at Burlington Coat Factory. They had a "fur" collar, which turned out to be dog fur.

I'm just commenting on the picture. She's glammed up. I think it would've been just as effective if they would've used the real singer in modest clothing, not all flashy.
