Have you ever felt guilty............

for buying something.

I've been needing a cd player for my car for a while. It's been trippin hard. It will start playing a cd and then later on it will just cut out. It then comes on again when it wants to. It frustrated me.

Yesterday I decided to get a new cd player. I felt so guilty. I was thinking of other things I could do with my money like pay other bills etc. It really made me feel crappy.

I'm over it now and I'm happy with my new cd player but I was going through it for a minute.

...only sayin'.....

buyers remorse. It happens to me nod now I like to put something in the shopping cart and live with it a while to see how it feels. Often I will put it back after 15 minutes, realizing I don't need it.

I have lived without a cd player in my car since December! I'm thinking i need one now!

I didn't even go all out. I just wanted a basic cd player and that's what I got. It's sounds fine.

My "thing" about shopping is this. If I see something that I'm like "Wow." I pick it up and buy it. If it's something that I have to look at over and over and think about, I just put it down and don't go back to it.

But at the moment I felt I needed. A day after I got it, I felt bad cuz mother's day was a week away. I had no money left and I forgot to get mom a gift eek

I took that sucka back so fast lol
Bought mom a bracelet with the money.

I don't think a cd player is extravagant. They're pretty cheap nowadays.

I guess it depends. If you're in debt, then you didn't need the cd player. But there are worse ways to waste money. A meal or two costs that much if you're not careful.

Thank you. I'm actually helping a friend move to Vegas and I'm using my car. I would go nuts if my cd player was not working.

Oh hell yeah. I don't know why, but it's hard for me to buy things that I want, but don't necessarily need. I usually end up returning whatever I bought when I start feeling like that. lol disbelief

Agreed! As long as you can afford the item you want to get, and not go broke buying it, why not? smile
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.
