I just have to say it.... I'm not impressed this season.

follow that with Jeffrey from the third season and his battles

and big gay chris and christan of the fourth season

I agree. No one has the X factor. I think I missed the last episode.

They're always boring in the beginning. With so many designers around, it's hard to get a sense of what they're about. That'll change as the field gets whittled down.

I know what you mean, though. I haven't really found anyone to root for yet. Korto and Kenley are my two favorite thus far...but they aren't exactly exciting...

Gen is right at the beginning its too busy to really get involved in whats happening or care much.

Also I think that season 4 had such a high standard, cmon Christian had the thing won by the second episode, but he kept making shit that was just fabulous to look at, also a lot of the other designers could stand right next to him.

I just think this season is going to be a bit of a let down after last.





But I will say the guy who basically wrapped a shower curtain around his model had me laughing uncontrollably.

I've missed an episode, and I'm not even sore about it and I really don't know anybodies name yet.

You're right this season it's as good as it's predecessors so far.... But I'm still going to watch every episode and hope to see something amazing. Suede has made some nice designs but I wish he would stop talking in the third person all the time.

Yeah, I've noticed that this season is having some starting difficulties. My favorite so far has been Kelli & Kenley.

Personality-wise, no one stands out but I don't mind that at all. I'm tired of shows rigging things so the most outrageous or likable mf's will stick around. Let it be based solely on talent, fuck the rest. I'm enjoying it, glad they finally got rid of that mousy bitch who wouldn't stop making Mary Poppins type shit The leather chick makes me giggle, Suede needs to stop saying his own name... Tanning dude is SO annoying... The one Black guy is out of his gourd but I like him...

There's a lot of talented designers this round (as usual), they just need to weed out the weak ones & get to it

This is the first season where I'm not in a rush to see any of the episodes. I'm all caught up now but like y'all said, there is no one there who is grabbing me. If anything, I can't stand that looney tune who keeps on saying "Girlicious" or "Holla at cha boy". Somebody needs to tell homeboy that he's FAR from being hood. He is so damn phony and it gets on my nerves. I'm still going to watch it cause Heidi, Tim and the judges alone make it Must Watch TV for me.

I have a theory about this. With PR jumping ship 2 Lifetime next season, it's possible that this season was thrown 2gether as a means of getting out of that contract. I don't think 1 season has ever so quickly followed another in PR history. The designers they've got r moderately talented, but they all seem SO AFFECTED. Each 1 seems 2 b racing 2 give birth 2 that next great "PR catchphrase" (i.e. "Hot Tranny Mess"). Each of the designers in season's past were quirky, but the main reason U could tell they were there was the prize. These fools just seem 2 b okay designers who want 2 b on TV. Granted, there always 1 or 2 in the group like that every year, but this year is 2 much.

Which is sad, cuz I love this show.

i am mad at keith because he always comes up with very good ideas but they don't quite translate into the final result.

terri's stuff are flawless, as are kelli's (peggy comes to mind, those who watch mad men lol)

and i want to see more of korto's stuff.
