So, surrounded by enough kids to make us look like lurking pedophiles, we watched what is probably one of the best movies this year. Almost perfect from start to end, it had me squealing with delight, it seems. 
I laughed, went AWWWW, went OH NOOOOO! and I wasn't the only kid. When, after some space adventures, Wall-E turns the space ship around, there was this ONE moment of silence in the theatre, which was PERFECTLY filled by a six year old who had done it's ALMOST perfect best of being silent through ALMOST the entire movie, commenting, very loudly; IS HE GOING HOME NOW? I love cockroaches and kiddies matinees. |
