And another thing that has stood out for me lately is how
hypercrital the media is. They claim on their various tv show and in editorials etc that its wrong to judge people based on their sex, gender, race, religion, appearance etc yet for the last 10 years they have brutally judged Micahel in the most vile and degrading way!Especially these last few days! If they can do that to him...NOONE IS SAFE! Sure I don't like what he has done...but dang its his fucking face and he should be able to do what he likes to it...he has to live if it!

That's WAAAY Better. He's definately had his nose widened, he almost looks like he did in 1991. Take a good look folks: there's a prosthetic piece laying on top of his nose. Look near the bridge, where his eyes & nose meet - there's a ridge there, covered w/ makeup. Look @ that tip - completely different texture from the rest of his nose (the "fleshy" part of the nostrils). His nose hasn't been widened at all, you think he'd do THAT?? No, anything would look "wide" next to that teeny tiny tip. His nose is collapsing, probably has been for years. He wears this "piece" in lieu of the tape that was holding his shit up yesterday. I know this thread has turned into a mess but to turn a blind eye to this kind of self hatred is just being BLIND & being who I am, I don't have that luxury. Once again mistermaxxx, you are going way off the mark. No one is not accepting MJ for his musical talents, his support of his family and all of the things you have stated in the numerous threads. I am a fan of the Jacksons and MJ but I can make an observation regarding MJ's appearance without being considered "shallow". We are not dogging MJ because he simply wanted to alter his appearance. Hell I would have lypo if I could. This is EXTREME behavior and it demonstrates some discontentment and confusion regarding his appearance and even his race. MJ didn't find anything in his "appearance" that identified him with being African American appealing thus he changed it all. He his heart he could be the same ole MJ but he does have some issues in this matter. I will state this again, I love MJ's music but if I ever had a chance to speak with him, I would ask him about the dramatic change in his appearance. FYI: I've heard both Marlon and Jermaine speak regarding MJ's appearance and they 'don't get it' either.

Michael "the freakshow" jacksons sells So I won't be surprised next week People mag will run that Wed pic and proclaim that MJ's face is falling apart bullshit while ignoring the other pics. After all they got to keep MJ in his little box don't they! They say that the trial is a circus...its a circus cause they brought their cameras with them! Come one over the years their has never been this type of publicity surrounding MJ the other times that he has appered in court for song plagerism etc! Everyone needs to go to the photos section of http://search.news.yahoo....el+jackson to see that MJ looks right now! So don't be so quick to judge!
I viewed these pics as well. Mj face doesn't look good but I would still go to one of his concerts.

I know a few people with vitiligo and their theory is that Mike did have something done to his skin so that all of his skin would get lighter. They said that if a person with vitiligo scars that part of the skin would turn light.
Just a theory. And if he had an issue with his father he should have gotten therapy. Papa Joe still looks good where as MJ...well...we know the end result. BTW...has anyone seen the pic of the child Joe had with another woman...SHE LOOKS JUST LIKE JANET...

With that second pic I bet there are alot of ppl (me included) who wished he stayed that way its just so sad
Anyway after reading Michael Jackson: The Magic and the Madness, I'm surprised that he lasted as long as he has. He had a horrible upbringing under an ambitious and very abusive father who made his chances of emerging into adulthood unscathed practically zero (while over the years his other siblings have shown glimpes that they too are damaged...sure they like to proclaim that janet is the "normal" Jackson but I bet she has the biggest bones in that closet!). When Michael quickly became the focus of the group, and in 1971 he went solo, scoring early hits with songs like ‘Rockin’ Robin’ and ‘Ben’ things became strained between him and his brothers who grew jealous of attention he was getting. His precocity onstage was dazzling but offstage he was constantly undermined by his father and brothers, who chose his looks - especially his nose and lips - as the easiest target which has led to having cosmetic surgery that he never needed in the first place. I think out of all the child stars gone wrong stories that we have read over the years this is the most tragic. Its funny we tend to get mixed messages from the media...that its wrong to judge people on their race, religion, appearance etc...yet they bombard us on a daily basis with messages of how we are suppose to look and act according body part/celebrity sexy polls and diets to help us in our quest to attain the perfect face and body. As a result we are now seeing an increasing number of men and women devleoping eating disorders and having unecessary cosmetic surgery, and racism within a race, and yet when someone like Michael (who has overdone it in the nose department I might add),we condem him. Michael doesn't deserve our scorn but pity...he is just another talented and gifted peformer who couldn't handle the pressure of fame, because he didn't have a chance to develop a sense of self in the first place!

REUTER article. By the way, this is the original Dramatic New Picture thread.
One nose-job too many? http://www.news24.com/New...41,00.html Los Angeles - A rare courtroom appearance by "King of Pop" Michael Jackson in a breach-of-contract lawsuit has caused much of the world to render a judgment on his looks - especially on whether he went through one nose-job too many. And as far as plastic surgeons are concerned, the public might be right. "His nose is more collapsed than it ever was. That's also consistent with the fact he's been walking around wearing surgical masks in recent times," Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr Richard Fleming has said. "I would never go back and do work on Michael Jackson's nose ... it is just too risky," he added. Fleming said that with each nose job, the blood circulation to the area decreases and the risks of scarring and infection increase. "I think he has accepted it (the nose). He is almost a fantasy figure or a cartoon character," said Dr Edward Domanskis, a Newport Beach, California, plastic surgeon. "At the age of 40, people don't act or look that way," he added. Domanskis said it looked like Jackson had at least five nose jobs and "There had to be some complications along the way." Jackson returned on Friday to a courthouse in Santa Maria - the central California town nearest to his Neverland Valley ranch - for a third day of testimony in a $21 million lawsuit which accuses him of pulling out of two millennium concerts. The entertainer's testimony has been overshadowed by his bizarre off-stage appearance, captured in media photographs on Wednesday. The close-up photographs, which caused an internet stir, depicted an eyeliner-and-lipstick-wearing Jackson with a stubbly goatee, a clear, Band-Aid-type plaster on his scarred nose and a wild mane of black, silky hair. News photographers snapped the photos in court, after Superior Court Judge Zel Canter told Jackson to remove the surgical mask he was wearing. His appearance prompted gasps from the courtroom audience, which included media and about 30 fans who won a seating lottery. The next day, Jackson showed up for court four hours late and appeared drowsy. The nose plaster had either been removed, or was covered by heavy make-up. "He's got kind of a shrunken skin, but it is impossible to speculate on how it happened," said Chicago plastic surgeon Dr Laurie Casas, chairwoman of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery's communications commission. She said Jackson could be suffering from a rare psychiatric condition, called body dysmorphic disorder, in which patients are dissatisfied with surgical results, regardless of any objective improvement in their appearance. "You have to wonder how someone has gotten into a situation where they look very abnormal," Casas said, emphasising that the vast majority of plastic surgery candidates have much more realistic expectations. She also said Jackson's apparent goal of honing his once broad, flat African-American nose into a perkier nose is out of step with current fashion. "In the 50s, 60s and 70s everyone got a cookie-cutter nose, but now people don't want to change their ethnicity. They just want a nose that fits their face," the plastic surgeon said. "What he's done is to go from a Negroid or black nose, which is round and broad and flat, to a Caucasian nose that's narrow and projecting," Dr Harvey Zarem, a former chief of plastic surgery at the University of California at Los Angeles, told the Los Angeles Times. "To do that, you have to put cartilage or silicone or bone in the nose like a tent stake to make the nose stick out. But when you do that enough, the cartilage or silicone or bone pokes through." Beverly Hills surgeon Fleming said much of the work on Jackson's nose appears to have been done by a single doctor. "I do see people who want repeated surgeries, but you can't operate on them. If Roseanne Barr comes in wanting to look like J.Lo, I can't help her," he said.
