I, too, feel sorry for him. If you take a human being and put them through the fame machine for their entire life, this is what gets spit out at the other end. A person so self-conscious that it becomes self-destructive. It's really sad, because it makes people not take other aspects of his life seriously, and I think he actually has a lot of good to contribute.

I wish he would just stop doing whatever he's doing to his skin, give up on any additional surgery, cut his hair short and stop chemically altering it, throw away all of his psudeo-military attire, and all of his makeup, and buy some jeans and cords and t-shirts, and face up to whatever the nature of his sexuality actually is, and just let people deal with him as he is, the poor guy.

There are medical cases where people hate a part of their body so much, say arm, hand, that they have it removed.

I'm not sure why, I really don't have empathy for Michael Jackson. I have read what some of you have written and I don't feel warmth towards him. I winced when I saw that photo up the top. I always cringe when I see his image. I don't enjoy his music, I loved 'Off The Wall', that's it. I appreciate he is an entertainer, yet he's not entertained me for years. He actually repulses me. I find it hard to muster respect for him. Well everyone I saw MJ on CNN and Fox News today cause he was running late for his second day on the stand and everyone thought that he wasn't going to show up and guess what? he looks different again...the band aid is gone and his nose looks alright, he was like his normal self...u know what I mean. Even Connie Chung was surprised that he looked like well MJ LOL. My boyfriend thinks he wore the band aid to get media attention and it worked. MJ has been to court on a countless of times (song plagarism allegations which he won etc) and for some reason he is getting major press coverage.

I'm sorry for Michael. So sorry... And there can't been a new surgery to make that work done better? I would wish that to him. It is sure very hard to do live so. People can be very, very cruel and superficial, destroying eachother for reasons they arn't, because it is only a run away from the own ugly mirror. I would love it to have a talk with Michael. When he talks on public, he's voice is sooo fine... I think he has not so many friends.
