I used to get REALLY upset looking @ Mike b/c it's TRULY sad that he bought into such a twisted perception of himself - that he wasn't good enough, that somehow THIS is what he should look like. I dunno, it doesn't upset me so much anymore. It doesn't hurt my heart like it used to, I'm not sure why.

Maybe b/c @ his age & in this time, to see him continue to cut & chop & weave & de-pigment is just too much to take. He's not an impressionable teenager anymore, being told his nose is too big & he's too dark. He's a grown ass man who hasn't looked like himself for several years, yet keeps trying to get further & further away from who he is. God gave him SO MANY gifts, the only one he embraces is his voice - he's so eager to shed the rest. To go that hard against nature is psychotic & fucking scary.

It's still incredibly sad to me. I just wish he could have repaired his psyche & his soul before he layed a hand on his face...

This is really sad,

Looking atthe picture i am afraid it is even worse.

The stuff that looks like peeling skin appears to flesh-colored tape to me.
Maybe there are holes in the side of his nose, and he hides with that tape.

Anyone else thinks the same ?

I think you are right that could be tape and on the side also. It looks like he just has tape on his nose like he had work done. I think he looks good and shouldn't do anymore.

Mistermaxx, as u know I dig Michael's music...but today he looked awlful and u can't deny that and I feel like venting Its so tragic to see someone who is so gifted tinkering on the verge of self-destruction.

NuPwrSoul I see your point we can trace this to his family and thank them for planting those seeds in his mind, in particular his father who constantly bashed him (eg.when he got dance steps wrong or singing out of tune) and teased him about his appearance (he called him ugly and big nose) from the time he was 10 for that as a means of control because he too suffered from low self-esteem and took it out on his kids and wife!!!. All the Jackson siblings are damaged in one way or another, its just that Michael and to a lesser degree Latoya get all the attention. We can also thank those around him who only gave a fucking damm about the money and what his celebrity can do for them (from Berry Gordy to Liz Talyor). For years they knew what was really going on in the Jackson family and the impact it had on Michael, and they did NOTHING! Whoever did those surgeries on Michael should be struck off the medical role cause they butchered him.. Finally Michael also needs to share the blame...no one put a gun to his head and say "here have some more surgery" he had plently of time and money to get treatment.

The bottom line is this, unless he gets help from people who actually care about him, and not his money or celebrity, and he finally wakes up and stops all this madness, he is going to end up like Elvis Presley or Karen Carpenter. I hope I'm wrong and that Michael doesn't end up as another statistic.

The even bigger tragedy is that he bleaches his son's hair. He can't even be satisfied with the way his son looks. MJ is passing on his wacked sensibilities to little Prince.

As far as whether or not he had more surgery since then...I have no idea, because I don't know if that specific type of surgery can change your face for the worse over time instead of just staying the same as it was back during that time.

This is so sad...

Even in the nineties, although he looked really different, you could still see some of the old MJ in his face. If you watch the Dangerous and History videos, you can still still see the old Michael Jackson in his eyes and when he smiles.

But now his eyes look empty, and he doesn't seem to be capable of smiling. His nose, his lips, his chin... what happened? I mean, people were already calling him a freak when Bad came out, but compared to this, he looked positively spectacular back then!

It's really tragic, but I don't think he'll ever be able to stop with the surgeries. He didn't stop in the eighties, he didn't stop in the nineties, why would he stop now? And, unfortunately, there will always be a surgeon willing to work on him for the right price.

I remember in an old interview, he said he doesn't like seeing his reflection and he tries to avoid mirrors. That was almost ten years ago...
