I really don't see what the problem with her speaking spanish to her dog is?
But I guess my dogs would be bilingual as I speak both spanish and english to them lol

It's just an odd thing to witness. She talks to her dog like she's waiting for it to respond or something. Plus, as I said above, she is weird to begin with, so this just seems to add to her strangeness.
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

It's true, there have been several occassions when I have passed her outside while she was walking her dog, and I heard her speaking Spanish to it. wacky nutty nutso loser Other neighbors in this building have noticed this as well. I always knew that the woman downstairs was a wacko bitch, but this just confirms it. She's a real piece of work, lemme tell ya! lol disbelief No wonder her husband left her for some other woman! lol

Is it a Chihuahua? Maybe she's just sensitive to the dog's cultural needs.

Not a chihuahua. I think the dog is a labrador mix, because it looks like one. Plus, it's a big dog, not a little one, like the chihuahua is.

So what.. My dog understood Spanish. and my current dogs I speak Spanish to. so because someone speaks to their animal in their own language is no one's business but their own.

You're on a website talking about a woman speaking Spanish to her dog...and you think she's weird?

There's nothing wrong with speaking to your pet in your own language. The dog understands repeated commands no matter what language you speak. Is it just because it's Spanish that that makes her crazy? Do you automatically assume dogs speak English?? confused

highfive I have the same issue with the woman who lives below me. We should let those two move in the same building, so they can drive each other crazy. evillol
