I can't speak for the rest of the world but the housing market in the United States is such a scam...over priced houses built by contractors...real estate companies willing to sell overpriced properties and lending agencies issuing home loans like they're candy...

the evil estate agents have mostly priced out most of NZ for buying a house

the ironic thing is most have no idea what gentrifacation means

alot of estate agencies are now going bust....

which most people think is a case of"the chickens coming home to roost"

the boom is over and now they are paying the price for their greed

2 years ago- a house worth 180000-would go for 600000.....

rolleyes um estate agents provide an appraisal .....owners decided what price to market it for ....99% of the time against agents price advice ...
I do agree with u that prices have got out of hand and out of alot of peoples reach ....and that right now it's a quiet market.
