Rate the last three movies you've seen

theater, video, TV, online, etc.

The Incredible Hulk (2008) star star star (out of five) - Lots more action than Ang Lee's film. I like that it was more true to the books and there were some nods to the TV show. Too bad the depth and character development that the director and Edward Norton wanted to include was cut by Marvel.

Expired (2008) star star 1/2 - I only saw this movie for Samantha Morton and she was great in it, but the story about a lonely metermaid tolerating her new jerk of a boyfriend was very frustrating.

The Night Porter (1973) star star star star - Great BDSM story, but subtract one star because movies set in foreign countries where everyone is speaking English always annoy me a little.

Angelina Jolie is GREAT I have seen this 3 times in one week, I am a sucker for violence in the summer, save the chick flicks for when it's cold out side lol

Saw WALL-E this weekend: starstarstarstarstar An astounding film! The fact that I couldn't look away for the length of it despite there being almost zero dialogue was worth the price of admission.

Get Smart: starstarstar Very funny movie, 'nuff said.

IronMan: starstarstarstar Very cool action hero flick, money well spent again!

The Orphanage starstar 1/2star
I am a bit tired of the children ghost stories. It did give me a really creepy image I'll never be able to get rid of.

Stardust starstar 1/2star
Again, good not great movie. Kinda dragged in the middle. I thought the story was pretty original.

WALL-E starstarstar
I liked this movie and it was very beautifully rendered and thought the plot and storyline was pretty good. What I liked the most was the non-dialogue and that they could get the robots to convey emotion with out talking or facial expressions.

American Beauty star star star star star

This movie never ceases to amaze and hunble me. Why Bening did not win the Oscar, ayedunno. I mean, common; Hilary Swank?

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull star ½

The pic above shows Indy and a dude with bad hair looking for the plot. The half point is for trying, though. And cuz I did not want it to rank next to The Temple Of Doom.

Calendar Girls star star star

Normally I cringe at movies based on real life stories, but this was unexpected fun. Helen Mirren, as always, is brilliant.

And, on the tele;

Cranford star star star star star

Brilliant period drama. Well acted, perfectly cast, even though it is too 'safe' for some critics, I am probably soft and love it to bits. I mean; Judi Dench, Imelda Staunton, Francesca Annis, Eileen Atkins... all WOW.

I love American Beauty. I am not a huge movie buff. I wait until they come to video. I can't see wasting money on a theater for most movies.
I am not one to watch the same movie more than once unless I really like it. I have seen AB about 6 times. I love it! You are right Annette Bening did a great job in that movie.
