Whos the best batman?

Im confused when it comes to this question, keaton is horrible as bruce wayne, but when he puts on the mask hes creepy (as Bats should be)

Bale did a awesome job as bruce, but as bats he seemed trying to hard to be scary, not natural ,like keaton.
So my answer is Keaton as Bats and Bale as Bruce.

I think they've all been pretty lame, but Keaton had the best eyebrows and lips for that mask.

Bale completely freaked it out but Keaton had the jawline for the mask. I say Bale though. Kilmer just seemed uncomfortable and Clooney seemed like a last minute case - literally - like 10 minutes before first shot went up lol .

Don't you mean 'will'? wink
Seriously, Ledger blows Nicholson's Joker clean out of the water.
It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

i absolutely agree with this 100%
i always felt this ever since i seen batman begins. i love Bale think he is a great actor, but i cant get into him when he puts on the batman voice.

i love Tim Burton vision of gotham city and that he does leaves your imagination for your interpetation of the characters and their actions.

But Nolans got a better script and story.

The ideal bat-film would have Nolans script and seriousnes whit burtons visuals and atmosphere and the elfman soundtrack.
Im still waiting for the perfect bat-movie.

Christian Bale of course !
Keaton was ridiculous, and Clooney openly admitted that his version was shit.
Chris Nolan´s version of Batman , including all the actors and their roles ( Ras Al Ghul, the Joker, Lucius Fox, Twoface etc. ) comes VERY close to the dark and serious Batman of the 70s and early 80s, created by the great Neal Adams. That´s why I love the new Batman movies so much because they are the first ones to come a bit closer to Neal Adams´ idea of how Batman should be.
I wish they would base the third movie on the "Lazarus Pit" story featuring Ras Al Ghul and his daughter Talia. That is one of my favorite Batman stories, ever. I´m sure Chris Nolan would even make it better, darker and more dramatic then the story already was. And I also like how he introduced the Wayne penthouse in the movies, which also comes very close to the 1970s/80s Batman and Bruce Wayne version. No Robin, no Wayne Manor, hot chicks, Bruce Wayne as a rich and powerful womanizer fighting his inner demons, all the gadgets, and a very cool Alfred Pennyworth. The only thing that wasn´t authentic was Alfred calling Bruce Wayne "Master Wayne" all the time. It should be "Master Bruce", like in the Neal Adams stories, where Alfred would serve tea to an insomniac Bruce Wayne. wink

I think people confuse Keaton in the suit as a good actor when he was a prop being used by a director with a good vision

Physically, he didn´t even remotely resemble Bruce Wayne or Batman. I never really liked Tim Burton´s Batman.

I like it in parts, the imagery, the car, the fact that the public no longer associated Batman with Adam West (however unique that show was). I found the first much better than the second and neither of them really had much story at all
