I like it...I used to hate my first name (Joni) and in junior high had the idea that I wanted to go by Renee. I told all the teachers but when they would call on me in class, I wouldn't answer because I would forget I was supposed to be answering to "Renee". So that lasted about two days.

But I like my first name now. I sort of wish it was spelled Jonie, though; and that there was an accent aigu in my middle name. I dislike my last name...

Mine is CoShea. Pronounced "Coshay"..I love my middle name.

I absolutely ADORE my middle name.

Especially because my mum broke the tradition of "Anne" as the middle name of choice for girls in my family.

jane! used to hate it because of the plain jane connotation
but as with my first name, have grown to appreciate it. both my next oldest
sister and i have middle names in honor of my mother's side of the family. so it's cool.

used to want to have a nickname in middle school. wanted to be called after my
initals (mj) but i never asked anyone to call me that so no one did
i started using it as my name online (a way to tell people my name without really telling them my name)
but now when i meet online people in real life and they call me emm or emjay
sometimes i assume they are talking to someone else.
it's different in person than reading it online.

I never heard that name before. But I had a children's book when I was little and there was a girl by the name of Blanda which is a very old German name and I would have loved that to be my name.

My mothers aunt was a nun.. Sister Blandine.. My Aunt ( my mothers sister) was named after her ( they call her Ineke) and I'm named after her..she's my godmother. Catholics

My boyfriend has five names... Albertus, Ludovicus, Godefridus, Johannes, Maria.. But you can call him Abby
