my middle name is PAIGE.

i love it, even though i hated it when i was a kid because i thought it was a girl name.

i love it now because it's the part of my name that my mother chose for me. my dad chose my first name.

there was a period of time when my mom and i were discussing changing our last names to paige, so we'd both have a last name that didn't involve my father or my mom's second ex-husband, and that way we could create our own family name and have it in common. we never really followed up on that, but it was a sweet idea.

When I was young I hated my first and middle name, it was just too darn long. Now I simply love them both...
