I was going to quote Nietsche "life without music would be a mistake" but I've read several versions of that quote and I'm like, "O.k. which is the correct one."

There's probably gonna be a point in my life, if I live long enough, where sex will not be very important to me...but there will never be a point in my life where music is not important to me. I remember seeing my father, at 80 years old, listening to some Ray Charles tune with a soft smile on his face and doing a little dance while sitting on my couch ...it was adorable, and he truly was still thrilled at hearing music, and all the memories that were associated with it.

Yet, if I'm ever in a relationship again, I can't imagine not sharing that ultimate connection with my partner, not being able to express my love for her through physical intimacy...then again the two of us never hearing music together would suck as well lol...

Damn, this is difficult...

What about if your child grew up to be a musician? Would people still choose to give up music over sex?
