Do you want kids?

I want kids, we both do. I know it wont be all gazing awestruck at them and sometimes it will get deeply messy to say the least, until I train him/her to change their own nappy, which I would be working on as soon as they pop out. biggrin But I would love them.

How about you? Do you want more if you have them. Also, Ive thought about this and dont want an only child, if I can help it, I think kids need a brother or sister..what do you think?

I don't understand why people would want kids in this wicked world. If we are lucky we may have 50 years left.

I have 2 boys aged 8 and 5. I adore them. mushy

Don't regret having kids at all. They're the best things I've ever done.

I cannot have more children, but even if I could I wouldn't have more. They are a big responsibility and with working full time and going to school plus being a single mom. It's all I could handle.

I'm still undecided. I think I'd like to have 1. That's all I could afford and even that's pushing it, to be perfectly honest. My big concern is regret. I don't want to look back and wish I would have done it. I don't think I'd regret having a child.

I always wanted a big family. Now I'd like to have one, if I could. pray

I have 3, our twins came first. I love them to death, but they're quite a handful too. At the end of the day, it's a blessing being allowed to care for them and guide them. And being a relatively young dad, I'll have plenty of time left once they grow more independent nod

I'm going to be the oddball and say no, I don't want kids. I enjoy being an aunt very much, though.
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Nope! Never wanted them!

I'm always amused when people say "You will change your mind" smile
It's usually from people whose kids I cannot stand to be around HAHAH!

Seriously though, I cannot come up with one concrete reason to have kids.
If someone can present a good arguement to - I'd be open to it smile

Note: I'm very open to the idea of opening my home to a child who is already in this world.

Definitely -- I am an only child and enjoyed being one. Luckily I was always surrounded with lots of friends and cousins so I never really felt like I was missing out. As I grew older I think I missed having that sibling bond, however I didn't feel deficient for not having a sibling. I think when you've had brothers and sisters you can't imagine growing up without one, however when you have been an only child it is all you know so it doesn't feel as bizarre as one might imagine.

I would however like to have more than one, two sounds good to me. I don't know if I could juggle three! Time will tell.

Bottom line is if I'm not married, I don't want to have any children. It's probably a selfish decision, but I'm being realistic about what I can handle. If I'm struggling with myself, I don't see how I would be able to deal with raising a child, especially alone. More power to those who do. I just figure that would be my limit. Never really had the desire to have any.

I do, even though it does not look that I am going to have them soon, but I really do.

What a beautiful little guy! biggrin

I've been blessed with one biological daughter and I'd love to adopt another. I'm challenged at the notion of personally conceiving another child and inviting them into a really screwed-up world, but I believe devoted parenting of the children who are already here is deeply important.

One would be nice but if it does not happen, I am ok with that too.

When we are ready we will try, we will see if it happens.
