Do people find it hard to remember lyrics to songs? How many times to you have to hear a song in order to remember the words?

It usually takes me 3 or 4 listens to remember song lyrics

i suck at remembering lyrics.

Usually about a DOZEN listenings-to and then I still mess up the lyrics.

I've actually been on here a while, but because of the time difference I usually find myself in the chat room all by myself twiddling my thumbs!
MCR is just a side project, Prince is my true idol, but yeah I love em, especially 'Teenagers'. I know all they lyrics to that 1!

But yeah, I posted this topic up because it seems that everyone around me remembers lyrics well easily, and I'm left studying on lyrics.com desperately trying to get them embedded into my head before somebody notices. Just looking for tips thats all. Thanks guys!

I usually get em the first time, maybe one or two lines wrong that I can never get right again no matter how much I think of the real version

I usually can recall most of the lyrics after one or two listens.
