Ok, serious answer.
If in fact this was something that actually washed up...my serious guess would be that it's a decaying raccoon...possibly died of severe mange - which would explain the lack of fur. | |

Most of these things turn out to be animals who have natural deformities or diseases. We haven't entirely gotten around to cloning for humans yet, but they do it for animals fairly often these days. I think your idea that this animal could be a failed science experiment isn't sooooo far off  | |
