Your favourite rollercoaster.

I love rollercoasters my top 2 are the big one in blackpool england just for the sheer size of the first drop.

and the now sadly closed down black hole at alton towers england which was completely pitch black inside it was great you couldnt see anything all you could feel was the wind rushing past scary.

I like the Batman ride at Six Flags. I haven't been on it in about 11 years but as I recall it was fun and I got to listen to Prince as I waited in line.

The first time I ever rode that coaster, my sweetie said to me, "Now, don't let the fact that this coaster is situated on top of a major fault line worry you one little bit. smile "

Me --> eek

Bastard. lol

Can someone remind me of the name of that ride that just goes around in circles upside down. The thing that's scary is that you are only strapped in.

I totally forgot the name. It almost catapults you up and around.

I have a few...

Nitro / Six Flags Great Adventure - Jackson Township, New Jersey
Nitro / Six Flags Great Adventure - Jackson Township, New Jersey

[ the first drop is a BEAST. the first time i went on this ride I actually blacked out at the bottom of the first drop and didn't remember anything until I got to the top of the second hill. this ride has so much fucking Gs that I can barely remember how the track winds. I just get on this thing and get gone. The scariest coaster I've been on. and I love to sit in the back car -- I am a BACK CAR fiend anytime I get on a coaster. ]

Colossus / Six Flags Magic Mountain - Valencia, California
Colossus / Six Flags Magic Mountain - Valencia, California

[ this is one of the coasters that sparked my overall love for thrill rides in general. I have sentimental attachments to this ride because for one it's just a beautiful piece of craftsmanship. just the sheer volume of white-painted wood and the effort put into making this is something remarkable in and of itself. it's the most beautiful roller coaster i've ever seen. I love the ricketedy feeling I get when you go around the hills. and I love watching it change colors at nightfall. I remember riding this back in the late 80s and early 90s when both black and red trains were working and it was a dual coaster, so they'd race. I've been on this coaster over 50 times by the time I was 15. I hope it never closes. It should be shrined somehow. This was the first coaster you saw coming into the park as you exit your car. I used to draw this on paper as a kid, that's how much I idolized it. ]

If you´re watching the train go down the first drop, it looks like it`s over the top and on the ground within 3, maybe 4 seconds. But this magical moment when you`re going over the top towards the steepest part of the drop, is like the longest second i`ve ever experienced in my life. It feels like an hour or so. The whole first drop feels like it just never ends. Absolutly awesome. My favorite ride of them all.

I forgot to put in Revolution & Colossus - this just for sheer historical value (I rode it for the first time when Dipps Granola was big in the mid-80s, and then there was a sign just before the big drop, there was a sign on the left from them that said "Enjoy your dip!" I think I could feel my face drop when I saw how far down we were goin'.
