In the next month I'll be down in Orlando again and will hit SeaWorld for the first time. I'm expecting Kraken to be a great ride, probably similar to The Raptor at Cedar Point.

eek OMG, that very first picture! I´ve been only on one big rollercoaster in my life. It was in Florida in Sea World. Real cool. Went on it three times. At first, I couldn´t believe how incredibly intence it was so I went two more time to make sure and it WAS! The third time it was great. I was not that terrified and was even able to enjoy it. Real cool.

Yeah, Kraken, that´s the one I´ve been to, Loved it. Can´t compare it to others though.

How could I forget Mean Streak also at CEDAR POINT, Sandusky OH? When it was finished in 1991, it was the tallest and fastest wooden coaster in the world. It still ranks among the elite in this category. Its another ferocious beast woot!

I do have to say Mean Streak is it's own beast, in a way. It's very rickety and it feels at times if the train will go off the track. Maybe it's my perception, though. I rode Son of Beast and The Beast at Kings Island and then did my share at Cedar Point in a 48-hour span back in June.

After riding The Beast, Son of Beast and Mean Streak -- those are how I rank them -- 1, 2 and 3.

Oh, and how could we not forget The Gemini at Cedar Point? A classic if there ever was one. It celebrated its 30th anniversary in July.
