It seems to be much more common Older guys with Younger girls. Personally who wants somebody who looks Old and doesn't Rock? Mick Jagger is after a 17 year old. Is he Crazy? She said he's Older then my Parents. Joan Collins has a 36 year old man husband and she's 60s. So what do you think about this? I do Believe Mick should get a Face-Lift. It's about Time if he wants Young Girls.

In school I always had a crush on girls a year or two older. At that age, 1 year seems like a lot.

They are usually at least 5 years or (more often) more younger than me.



Either way it only matters in my opinion when people are very young - as people age, the lines of age begin to blur...

Consider that a 16 year old with a 36 year old... vs a 46 year old and a 66 year old.

If it's an age difference of more than 10 yrs., I think somebody's got a problem with their own shit. Either the person is too insecure to date someone of their own age/intellectual capacity, or they've got a Freudian thing going on (Oedipal/Electra), or they're looking for money or hung up on youth.

As long as you're both of legal age, I don't see big problems with an age difference. My wife is 7 years older than I am, and I've always tended to date women a bit older than myself. I just found that most of the women I've known that are the same age as myself were a bit silly and had silly opinions about silly things. Maybe when I'm 45 I'll feel differently

That said, there have been cases when a girl I knew was dating a guy like 20 years older and I think that's a bit sad... definitely some kind of father figure replacement thing going on there.

Bad experience has led me 2 meet young women who may B good in the bed, but conversation outside is null and void.

My oldest venture was a 47-year old who I met on Jury duty ad I was 22.

My youngest was 16 and I was 20... we did it outside by a campfire after one of my gigs... think she was a virgin so :I: felt a lil' guilty afterwards but she was very keen 2 please!!!

I don't see anything wrong with it because all my relationship have been with men that's older than myself. I could not picture myself with someone who around my age. I'm just 25 now, but when I was younger the oldest person 35 when I was 16.

All in all age doesn't really matter, it is all in what you like.

And then there are those superficial people who start threads like this, not realizing that their time is coming faster than they realize. Facelift? What for?

But then again a tummy tuck never hurt anyone, right?

I previously liked to think that it didn't matter one way or another, but my tolerance was exceeded when I heard about that old goat Michael Douglas with Catherine Zeta-Jones. I nearly wept.

As a general rule then, I've come to the private conclusion that the one you're with shouldn't be of an age where he or she could be either your parent or your child. That's pretty generous, don't you think.

One other high profile example that kind of exceeded my own arbitrary tolerances was the marriage of Woody Allen to his step-daughter, Soon-Yi.

Some guys here may claim an attraction to an "older woman" when they're 24 and the older woman is 36 or so, but when men turn 50 or 60 it seems to go the other way.
