I'm not offended by it, but I don't think it's funny. I just think it's too obvious an attempt at being funny by punctuating a line with something shocking. She's not digging very deep for the jokes. Yes, for some it's shocking and inappropriate. All of that can be funny in the right context (see George Carlin, Whoopi Goldberg, Roseanne Barr, Sam Kinison, etc.), but this just feels like a failed attempt at shock humor.

Doesn't work for me, nor does much of her humor anymore.

Ice-T did the same thing with Soulja Boy.....even made a video on youtube. A grown man "beefing" with a kid. Soulja Boy had the balls to respond back though.

Kathy Griffin is a sycophant who now in her career only exists to make fun of famous and wealthy people. On the surface she seems to be a sad and shallow human being with self esteem issues on par with the perez hilton crowd. What Kathy Griffin wouldn't do to be famous would be a really short list.

I don't find what she said offensive, but I'm okay w/ignoring her.
