Just a share. 1985.

I wasn't sure whether to put this here or in the Prince section, but it's just a share. I'm a virtual unknown here, but this is pretty significant to me. In the mid 80's, I was in a girls' home. Anyway, tragedy, tragedy, long story short, there is virtually nothing in existence to prove I ever existed for the first 18 years of my life. I have no family ties, no ties to old friends, nothing but the life I have now. I recently came across a room mate on Myspace from the group home and she shared these photos with me. I'd never seen them before. It's 1985 and I was 17 years old. Here I am on a Prince forum and some things never change.

Thanks for strolling down memory lane with me even if it may be a little mock worthy. I laughed, too.

mock worthy, no. But I do have tears in my eyes. Those are sweet pictures and I'm glad you have them.

When else but in the 80s would a kid have an autographed picture of Eddie Murphy on her dresser? lol
