As an ugly person, we tend to treat people like we want to be treated. Sometimes, it just makes us easier to get along with then some of our higher maintenance counterparts. Sometimes, we are just really great people on the inside who thrive when given the chance.

As an aside, purple hippie, some single moms do tend to date just about anyone for fear that no one wants them bevause they have kids. Some women will just think you are an attractive man and those women just happen to have kids. If you choose to meet these women, you will know right away which is the case. Good luck.

The stuff you named (tans, trainers) is a bit of a stereotype - someone can be "hot" w/o doing all that, they're just "naturally" gorgeous. & there's a buttload of women who jump through all kinds of hoops (the things you mentioned) that will never be attractive. It may help them a bit but it can't make up for beauty.
