I don't think there's much correlation betweeen looks and being a great spouse
It's like all those folks who always harp on how stupid pretty women must be--how is THAT true? I saw something on 20/20 once that did prove that good looking people, in general, did much better on dates and interviews, etc. etc. than ugly people because their looks were always factored into the situation. However, this doesn't mean a good looking person is necessarily dull or stupid. That mentality is just silly I know a guy who has a remarkably ugly wife. And I'm not being mean, folks--I mean, this woman is u-g-l-y without an alibi. but she's not a particularly great wife either. She's lazy, neurotic, and sooooo insecure about her looks that he isn't even allowed to eat at Hooters with the rest of the guys. She makes him pretty miserable if anything. I'm not saying that being ugly is the reason for that behavior in her either. We all have our insecurities after-all. What I'm saying though is that there can't be much of a correlation between one's looks and wether they'll be a good partner. At least, I don't think there is. , roodboi is pretty to my eyes spelling edit [Edited 7/28/08 19:21pm]

I just imagine all the work that would need to be done on me to bring me up to scratch, and I think it would take all day! When they did the make-up for me to go on TV it took over an hour it seemed they needed to do a LOT of work. Now to get myself all nice and tanned and in shape, keep all my stray hairs in check, nails, dress properly (which would require SHOPPING ) I would not have time to do anything else
