I knew the day would come that I would be summoned, but I was hoping to somehow get dismissed from the Final 12. My brother's friend told me that he wore an Ozzy shirt and they didn't select him. I'm thinking, Ozzy's not bad, so I'll wear a horror movie T-shirt. The first one I grabbed had a bloody axe on it. I knew for sure they'd dismiss me. They didn't! X 100. I was livid. My plan backfired. To make matters worse, it was the last spot. It was freezing in courtroom too.....so bad that my nipples were hard. On top of that, the case is boring as hell. They may have swayed me if it had been a murder case or something more interesting than embezzlement. I hate situations like this where social anxiety kicks in. Before being selected they gave us all mics. and we had to introduce ourselves in front of the entire courtroom. My heart was pounding before they called me. The lady sitting beside me was director of this mental health facility, so I hope she didn't notice my anxiety & awkwardness in the waiting room.

I'd enjoy an embezzlement trial. Usually not much to nuance in a murder trial, unless of course it's O.J.'s.

I sat on a jury a few years ago. I thought it was fun. We got long lunches and would take them to do shopping. I still got paid from my job. My fellow jurors were nice and we ate salt water taffy every day and one of the guys taught us to salsa dance.

For real. Most of the people on the panel are much older than I am, and the leader we selected is a preacher. I don't think we'll be cutting up and doing the Salsa.
