What do you do after a bad day???? I've had a bad day, and I just finished it off by finding out that the guy I was interested in (who for some reason hadn't been chatting with me as much) just got a girlfriend
To sooth my pain, I'm gonna watch Buffy until my eyes bleed What do you guys do to recoup after a bad day? If you will, so will I

To sooth my pain, I'm gonna watch Buffy until my eyes bleed What do you guys do to recoup after a bad day? I usually get on my turntables and vibe, music always get's me in a good mood. Sorry to hear about that guy, I think we all can identify with you on this. [Edited 7/27/08 20:53pm] [Edited 7/27/08 20:54pm]

I usually chat to my mum about what sucked or find an online friend to chat to. For some reason it can be easier to talk to someone online than someone in real life about problems. I dunno why, maybe cuz you can't see their bored facial expressions I listen to music, pump up an angry song. I also usually eat my favourite food, always bound to make you a bit happier

well first off, guys suck.
and it's happened to me before, it sucks was he leading you on or was it one of those "i don't know if i should say something"-type situations and then then when you finally get the courage to.... he's off the market. regardless ive had a long bittersweet day too m'self.. drove all the way back from montreal with boy - and while that was fun, it was the world we were re-entering that we didn't like so much (the pressure from both parents to do things 'their' way ) i'm sure he's passed out, which is fine, because he has to work in the morn, but i'm here, bored. alone. my parents are asleep/at work and they both weren't really speaking to me when i got home anyway, i wasn't gushing with gritty deets from the trip because, well, there weren't any - and i'm not about to be all 'oh mummy i was soo drunk n stoned! and the things boy did to me! woo!' like really? so i got the cold shoulder and i hate the fact that i left mtl because i LOVE that city SO much. anyway, enough about my day, we both had "ehh" days.. so my remedies -chocolate. first and foremost. and if you don't have chocolate, make sure to have a jar of NUTELLA in your kitchen at all times. a delicious and nutritious (so they say) replacement for the real thing. - music. obvs. any kind, the best are the ones that make you dance till you drip sweat. follwed by... - showers. even if you've had your daily one, shower again, use some fancy soaps you've never tried, or even a bubble bath works... - incense. i cannot stress NAG CHAMPA or SUPERHIT enough to you. burn both. you will love. promise. - buy a vibrator if you haven't one already - sleep. when everything else fails. tomorrow's another day love, [Edited 7/27/08 20:57pm] [...i think i can, i think i can, i think i can...]

Then suddenly it seemed like we weren't talking too much anymore, and when we did I felt like I was 'bothering' him now I find out that he just started seeing somebody this weekend I guess and I'm just mad that I let myself fall for him at all This always happens to me! But alas, I like your remedies for feeling better you rock girlfrien If you will, so will I

To sooth my pain, I'm gonna watch Buffy until my eyes bleed What do you guys do to recoup after a bad day? Music, sometimes a drink or something with it. Sometimes writing helps. You have my permission to eat ice cream too. Ice cream, brownies and friends can be good too. I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

After that I felt great! [Edited 7/28/08 3:32am]

Listen to music.
Take a bath. Eat ice cream. Watch something funny. My husband acting stupid and making me laugh can pull me out of pretty much any bad mood. Doing something for someone else, like cooking dinner for my kids, can often get me out of my head and make me feel better. The Normal Whores Club

Like just about everyone has said, listen to music. And it has to be some good, positive music, not some sad or angry music, or else I'll cry.
Dance Clean Cook/Bake. Call a friend. Read. Watch one of my favorite movies.
