Just Got Through Eating A Whole Bag Of Rainier Cherries Couldn't help it,they were so darn good. My stomach is so full now, think I need to lie down for awhile.

Rainier cherriez r xpensive,but oh so good! I bought some yesterday,and I think they were like $6.00 a pound!  Worth it,tho. | |

Out of about 70,000 tons of cherries grown in Washington State, 4,000 tons were Rainiers.
Japan, Taiwan and Los Angeles got about 1,100 tons; Seattle got about 200 tons. | |

They were created here in Washington State. A hybrid mix of two cherries.
They come into harvest during June and July. Still available to enjoy.  | |
