"little" edie beale was the subject of my favorite movie, "grey gardens". she and her mother were jackie onassis's cousin and aunt, and they lived as eccentric recluses in a big rotting mansion. the film is fascinating, and little edie is one of my all-time favorite people. and "who is william burroughs"????
