Tell a friend! (why you should go over their heads if you want anything done) A San Jose market, Su Vienda, has been accused by a consumer group, of selling food that has long passed expiration dates, and the CEO of the market is upset that the group didn't go to him before making the accusations.
----- Gee, whiz! Why do you suppose that could be? Perhaps because they feared that the CEO would pass the buck, sweep it under the rug, or try to distract from the issue? This kind of thing is a sore subject with me, because since I've moved to the Bay Area in early 2006, I've gotten a foodborne illness four times - FOUR TIMES! But since it's not possible to expect people to take responsibility for their actions, this is the new way of doing things. So I have no sympathy whatsoever for this CEO, and I hope they shine the spotlight hard enough until something gets done about it! This rant brought to you by "I'm Tired Of This Shit", a not-for-profit organization. Tell a friend. | |
