I'm diggin what you're saying... His stuff is against my grain. I find most rap stuff really boring. It sounds as manufactured as most dance tracks. However. I can appreciate that he has something. Its just not something I fancy indulging in... not something I could curl up with... not something I could swim about in... not something I can sing to... not something I feel good with hearing... not something that excites me... not something that gives me something to evolve. That's the common element in the music I love. I feel that I can evolve from listening to it. That's what music does with me. Maybe someone else can evolve to Eminem. In my private inner world, such ranting 'statements' serve for me only to perhaps 'rant' along with him, maybe if I were in a similar place inside, I'd enjoy ranting with him. But I'm not!!  | |

Very talented rapper but some of his commercial appealing songs can be kind of annoying as well as the repetitive subject content of his songs.

I think he is a cool MC; good flow and all. He is growing (is positive too, huh?) His lyrics are a bit prejudiced and angry, but he needs that rapper image, right? I disliked his suck up performance with Elton John. I totally dug Elton John's performance becuz I kinda think Eminem is kinda sexy when he gets rid off that silly hairdo. Kinda like tatooed, lean bodies. He's a pretty boy trying to act the thug. While at heart he knows what he wants and that is Aaron. Let him rap about that. | |
