What color are your bedroom walls?

Nearly all but two rooms in new house are done. One of them is my bedroom. I cannot decide on a color for the bedroom so, what's up? What color is your bedroom?

I also wanted to take a poll on this:

My top 3 colors are:
A) yellow

B) red

C) tan

D) other (please name your 'other' color)

Mine are white. As are all my walls. I live in an apartment.

I'm not sure I could imagine having any other color than white, I've been living in apartments so long.

That said, I couldn't live with red, yellow or tan. lol I could do maybe a pale pink or even a pale grey...

The walls in the living room and dining room were grey when I moved in. I found it dark and depressing. I keep saying I'll post before and after pics but I think I screwed up some of the before pics. The guest room was painted like a muted dusty blue. That's where I am temporarily until my bedroom is completed.

I just painted my bedroom a couple of weeks ago. I was originally going to paint it red, but then I found this color in the clearance section where they have all the paint that people returned.

I don't even really like pink, but I loved it once I finished painting. It's nice and bright! yay!

I painted my craft room a similar color. It was a paint from Disney called "Tink". It turned out so cute!

All wall are light cream ... bedroom furniture dark wood, cherry, curtain are dark, but sheer dark brown. comforter set is oriental style, quilt like with dark brown, light brown and red cherry blossoms, etc. the light color on the wall really helps make the room look larger, due to the dark furniture.

My room is a fair size, not huge but roomy enough to have several pieces of furniture and a queen bed. Everyone who sees my room says it's really peaceful and calming. Wish I had a pic to show but I am not at home tonight.

And darker colours (when it's the right shade) can work in smaller spaces without making the room dark and dreary and depressing.

I always thought bedrooms should be calming and bright primary colours (reds, yellows) are usually not whats considered calming...but I guess that's all about finding the right shade as well.

Just kidding. I really like Ralph Lauren's "denim" paint. Once my year settles down a bit, I might paint my walls with it. We'll see.

my walls are white neutral

but I like peaceful colors for a bedroom like
light purple, blue, turquiose, green, etc.

don't think I could rest peacefully in a red or yellow room
If you will, so will I

i am wondering that myself... am planning a nice poppy red but not sure how the tone of the wood will look with it. i was kind of nervous about going red and wondered if i had enough balls to do it. but i've just finished doing a red wall in my sisters house and i love it! i think i will start with two red walls and see what i think before doing it all red. it's not a very big room.

woot! for you!

my living room is a mild green. It's call "celery". I could do something like that.I'd rather have a lighter shade only because it is a small room. Not like a closet or anything but small. Gotta get some pics for you guys. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow.
