I don't like the taste of it. That's why I don't drink any light drinks.
I do drink Coca Cola Zero as it tastes more like the original Coca Cola.

... hmmm does that contain Aspartame?

I hate it but I am terribly addicted to it in my Caffeine Free Diet Pepsi.

I'm a soda addict myself, and I love the Diet Pepsi Max with caffeine and ginseng. Having said that, aspartame is a derivative of some poison I don't remember the name of, but it's some bad stuff. sad Nevertheless, the high fructose corn syrup that's in regular soda is even worse than aspartame. The cola companies should be using stevia, which is a natural, plant-based low calorie sweetener, but the company which manufactured aspartame, along with Archer Daniels Midland Co., a major corn processing company and the largest manufacturer of high fructose corn syrup, lobbied Congress to label stevia as a dangerous herb with no beneficial food effects so that it couldn't be sold in stores as a sweetener. (It could be sold as a dietary supplement though.)

BTW, the company which created aspartame, GD Searle, had Donald Rumsfeld as its CEO when they were first manufacturing and marketing aspartame as a sugar alternative.

I just use sugar. I'll use splenda occasionally but splenda does not sweeten like good old fashioned sugar does.

I avoid aspartame. I suffer from migraines and there are articles that state that aspartame is not a trigger for migraines and there are some that say that it does and I really believe that it does for me. I've tried to cut it out of my diet as much as possible which, of course, is difficult because it seems to be in everything neutral I just have to check the labels on everything now.

I mistook diet soda for regular soda once and found it gross. The sweetness was so synthetic I couldn't drink it. I rarely drink soda and try to avoid artificial sweeteners at all costs. Tastes bad and makes me feel horrible.

All of that stuff makes me really thirty...the worst dry mouth ever.

Yeah, I stopped drinking that stuff because it dries up my mouth. I rarely drink soda anymore but when I do it's the regular kind.

For artificial sweetener I use stevia and I buy the chocolate candy with maltitol.

What's wrong with good ol' sugar?

Sugar in moderation for me. I hardly ever drink soda though. Just the odd ginger ale or the occasional Sprite.

They are all over weight as well.

I am currently carrying out a few studies myeself but Have JUST been turned down for funding pout I don't think anybody wants to fund such a corrupt area.

We are looking at nervous tissue development in the fetus where mothers take aspartame. There are a lot of links with learning difficulties, ADHD, and autism and we are trying to make the link between maternal diet and fetal exposure.

I see that alot lol

This may be just a gut feeling but eventually aspertame is going to get pulled off the market. The problem with Aspertame is how much certain industries make off of using it, since you need far less of it than you do sugar to obtain the same level of sweetness. So there really has to be one bigass smoking gun to get this stuff pulled off the shelves.

But my issue with it is that I seriously doubt people who drink this stuff ever lose weight. Rather, I think they make up for it. I believe aspertame makes sugar cravings intensify too doesn't it? I heard it even increases hunger.

Either way, sugar in moderation or just plane water , to me is better than ingesting that stuff.

Plane water is all nasty smelling and blue. I don't know how you do it.

I guess it is free if you're lucky enough to find a chunk that falls in your yard.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

I just returned from the store and I am pissed.
After spending 15 mins trying to find squash that does not have artificial sweetener in it....I ended up getting a bottle two bottles that have Aspartame in them.
WTF!
The one was my fault..I was blind and frustrated after 15 mins and I did not see the " No Added Sugar" on the label.
The one that I am pissed about it the one that does not say " No Added Sugar" on the label. Yet it says "No Artificial Colours or Flavours".

When I turn the bottle over and read the label with a magnifying glass, it has Aspartame and Saccharin in it. pissed
Yet the other bottle is labeled the exact same on the front just different fruit in it and it just has sugar and saccharin.
What gives??

In the states, most everything that has Aspartame or Artificial Sweeteners in it is labeled "Diet".
I do not get why it has to have Sugar and Saccharin in it?????

This is odd to me.
Why???
