Yeah, preference may play into it but you're still measuring those outside of your group by the same generally accepted idea that white/light = beautiful. So how far are you really venturing out of your comfort zone? It's all good though, because I have NO problem saying that I think black men are the most beautiful thing walking on two feet and as a result that's MY preference.
