Really? Why is that? I live in a little apartment-like condo, and lately, I've been DYING to buy a house. My own backyard, my own washer/dryer, my own garage, no bitch living below me making noise in the wee hours of the morning and waking me up, etc. It won't be happening anytime soon, but it's something I'm definitely going to work towards getting. I have an elderly aunt who rents out houses, and she was telling us last year around this time that she had a tenant who had not paid his rent in like 5 months!  We told her, "Take him to small claims court! He should not be allowed to do that!" There is a lot of worry and money involved in renting houses, no doubt about it. RIP, mom.
