Another Night Of Poor Sleep

sigh I can't wait to get enough money, and move the hell out of here!!!!! It's going to take awhile, but I will be sooooo happy when that day finally arrives! Gonna move out of here, without looking back.
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I seriously need to try earplugs, but I don't know if it would work.

maybe you'll have to get used to them, but I've been sleeping with them for about 8 years now and they've totally saved my sanity

Thanks, I need to give it a try. Anything to save my sanity at this point would be a welcome change.

comfort
I have two. One next to me & one below. They've denied it's them. Pysch they are manufacturing products from their middle income co-op 3am until 1am. It's THREE years for me. Other tenants have suffered longer... one 13 years! No one with authority helps. Rents are too expensive for me to give up this apartment: under $700 one bedroom; NYC. Besides, it's been our home for 21yrs.

Back to you, sweety: Try pushing back. Vaccum on for several minutes to half hour when you know they are home. GUANTLET: At night put on your earplugs but first, place speaker on the floor crank the volume & muffle the sound that it is not audiable from the hallway. In case they call the police. Test the noise level before you do this all night long. Is it audible in the hallway? Especially when you place your ear to the wall.

I "BRING IT" by: playing music - one track 8 to 10 hours non-stop. The loud sounds are now to a tolerable thump. If they're too noisy one day I put a plastic cup in my spacesaver dryer - for several hrs at night. Next day they get Hard Rock on full blast. The Lord will judge my actions; revenge ain't cool. But neither is it okay to take someone's peace & quiet.

Must also state: Moving is a good idea. I'm looking into purchasing a townhouse. But things are to expensive at the moment. Meanwhile the neighbors have to deal with me, now. lol Call me...WORF!!!

before you do all that, just try the earplugs for a week. Seriously, we live next to a busy road and I can't hear anything. I do have to turn up my alarm clock LOUD to hear it but that's fine.

bits of kleenex or cotton aren't going to do it either, get some decent ones.

rose I had to deal with this in my last apartment. It sucked hardcore. It was usually in the summer and they would have their windows open. I finally just went outside in my pajamas, went up to their window and screamed "KNOCK IT OFF!" They must have thought I was a nut but they kept it down after that. Sadly, that was for only one night. sigh
Shake it til ya make it dancing jig

I really feel for you...
This is why i will NEVER live in an apt or an attached house...way too close for comfort.

summers are bad b/c i have neighbours that like to party all nite, luckily i can turn on the A/C & drown out the noise.
Good luck with the new place.
