Worst coffee I've ever had.

yup, and now that the are closing all these stores after their saturation of the market, what does that leave us? With over priced coffee everywhere. Instead of 25/50 cent bottomless cup of coffee, its now at the very least 2.00 US dollars for a limit of 2 cups at your favorite cafe/diner. and anywhere from 5 to 7 dollars for a coffee drink anywhere else. ASSES. All these people ruining every corner of every market is a fucking crime. Like coffee was Starbucks idea. No one is forcing Americans to drink coffee. They saw a market and went for it. If ppl are stupid enough to pay those kinds of prices for coffee than they must be able to afford it.

My point is that ppl keep paying those prices. So they keep charging ridiculous amounts for it....

I am not so much a Starbucks fan but in california's larger cities the mom n pop coffee stands don't exist. That was my favorite thing about Seattle.

My dad was telling me about Starbucks closing some of their stores. I couldn't believe it, since I thought that the Starbucks chain was doing okay financially. My dad made the excellent point that since the economy is so bad, and so many folks are either not working or watching their money (and with the price of gas!), that perhaps Starbucks was not getting the business that it used to. There is a Starbucks up the road from me, but it's not on the list. Not that I go to Starbucks for their coffee much, anyway. The closest Starbucks to me that I see on the list as closing is way out on the east side of town. A lot of the other ones that I see that are closing in Ohio are in Southern Ohio, which is several hours away from here. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

My favorite nickname for Starbucks is "Starfucked". Guess they are kinda "fucked", if they're closing up some of their restaurants. [Edited 7/20/08 11:29am] RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.
