Question for Anx, do you think The Watchmen is a whimsical book?

i do and i don't. i think it's very dark, but i think the look of the book has a lot of color. also, they chose to go with a men/women in tights theme rather than put them in leather jumpsuits a la the xmen movies. simply from a technical standpoint (costumes, sets, makeup, lighting, etc.) you're not going to have this "gritty realism" that everyone's drooling over.

Don't forget about the grand scheme at the end. It's simultaneously horrifying and hysterical. giggle
